A 2 time winner of the “IBM Means Service” award for superb customer satisfaction, he became the Chicago Branch Office specialist for the electronic series typewriters. He left IBM in 1986 and later started Advantage Business Equipment in 1989. Advantage serviced and sold typewriters and has since branched out to include copiers, printers, fax machines, shredders, dictation equipment, paper handling equipment and surge protectors. Advantage has grown by developing a reputation for fast, reliable service at reasonable cost. Advantage offers on-site service usually within 5 business hours or less and carry-in service for budget minded customers.
